To begin with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook kimchi using 7 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Kimchi:
  1. Get Chinese leaf cabbage
  2. Make ready minced garlic
  3. Take minced ginger
  4. Prepare As much Korean chilli flakes as you want.
  5. Take Fish sauce or miso if veggie
  6. Take Salt
  7. Take teaspoon sugar (personal choice)
Steps to make Kimchi:
  1. Slice your cabbage and add salt to it in a resealable bag. Leave for 1 or 2 hours
  2. Pour away salted water and rinse your cabbage.
  3. Add the garlic, ginger, fish sauce, sugar and chilli flakes. Massage the bag until mixed.
  4. Leave out away from sunshine for 2 or 3 days. Water will continue to come out of the cabbage. Massage twice a day for 10 seconds to keep all cabbage moist.
  5. Put into containers, refridgerate and eat when you want!
