Take 6-7 Amla or Gooseberries
Get 1/4 cup water
Prepare 1/2 cup sugar
Prepare 1 tsp red chilli powder
Prepare 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
Get Pinch Black salt
Prepare as per taste Salt
Make ready as required Lime roundels
Instructions to make Amla Mojito:
Wash the Amla and cut them into 1” pieces. Cut small pieces too
In a pan heat 1 cup water and add the big cut Amla pieces and boil for 2-3 mins. Pour into a bowl of cold water
To the same boiled water add the sugar and the small pieces of Amla. Boil until sugar is melted. Set aside to cool
In a blender add the big pieces and 1/4 cup water. Blend smooth
In a small plate add the red chilli powder, roasted Cumin powder, black salt and salt and mix well
In a serving glass smear the rim with lime wedges and put the rim on the red chilli mix. Add the boiled Amla blend after straining.
Add ice cubes, lime wedges, mint leaves to the glass. Add the sweet Amla drink after straining. Add the strained Amla juice and enjoy the Mojito
