Spaghetti "Bolognese" is one of the most popular of recent trending meals on earth. It is simple, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. It is appreciated by millions daily. Spaghetti "Bolognese" is something which I’ve loved my entire life. They’re nice and they look wonderful.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can have spaghetti "bolognese" using 18 ingredients and 10 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Spaghetti "Bolognese":
  1. Make ready 2 tbsp olive oil
  2. Get 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  3. Make ready 1 red onion, chopped
  4. Prepare 250 g mushrooms, chopped
  5. Get Fresh tomatoes *cherry
  6. Make ready 1 kg Mince (red meat eg. Beef / Ostrich)
  7. Prepare 1 tin chopped tomatoes
  8. Get 4 tbsp tomato paste
  9. Get 50 ml beef stock, hot
  10. Get 1 cup red wine, dry**optional
  11. Make ready 100 ml cream
  12. Prepare 1 tbsp Oregano dried
  13. Prepare Salt and pepper (to taste)
  14. Get Spring onion chopped
  15. Prepare 50g cheese (own preference)
  16. Get Spaghetti
  17. Get 400 g spaghetti
  18. Prepare 2 L water to boil (depending on the portion size of pasta)
Steps to make Spaghetti "Bolognese":
  1. Pour oil into pot and heat up. Pour water to boil for pasta. *TIP: Put a wooden spoon over the pot to prevent boiling over.
  2. Chop up the onions / garlic / mushrooms
  3. Fry the onion and garlic until brownish.
  4. Add minced meat to the pot and fry until thoroughly cooked.
  5. Add the tomato paste and mushrooms together and mix together.
  6. Add the tomato sauce mixture and stir everything together and leave to simmer at low heat
  7. Add the beefstock, spices and *wine to the mixture and let it simmer with the lid o for about 10 minutes on low heat.
  8. Drain the pasta from the pot and rinse off. Add back in the pot/ serving dish.
  9. Switch off the heat and add the cream. Stir together and let it rest for about two minutes or so.(*do not boil)
  10. Prepare the "garnish" and add on spaghetti as preferred. Enjoy
