Whenever you think of Indian snacks and the first thing that pops up is Samosa. After coming here, I understood that it has got a big name in the foreign world.

To get started with this recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook bite size pocket samosa using 12 ingredients and 8 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Bite Size Pocket Samosa:
  1. Take 2 medium size potatoes (boiled and mashed)
  2. Get 1/2 cup Green peas
  3. Take 1 tsp crushed green chillies and ginger
  4. Get as needed Oil
  5. Take 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  6. Take 1/2 tsp Jeera/ cumin seeds
  7. Get 1 pinch asafoetida

  9. Prepare as needed Readymade samosa patties
  10. Take 2 tbsp whole wheat flour
  11. Get 2 tbsp corn starch
  12. Make ready as needed water

Steps to make Bite Size Pocket Samosa:
  1. Take boiled potatoes and mashed it. In the other pan, take oil. Once oil is hot add mustard and jeera. Add asfoitida too.
  2. Add crushed green chillies and ginger. Add mashed potatoes, green peas and other masalas.
  3. Mix it well. Cook for another 5 minutes without the cover.
  4. Take Samosa patties and cut it as shown in the picture. Make a slurry with wheat flour.
  5. Fold it as seen in the picture.
  6. Follow the same process with rest of the Samosa.
  7. Keep all samosa ready. Before frying, keep it ready corn starch slurry. Deep all four corners in that.
  8. Fry it on medium flame. Serve hot with chuteny.
