I've tasted a good few samosa that have been home made and they all seem to be different - some crunchy inside from whole seeds, some rich and meaty, some have pastry flavoured with ajwain or onion seed, but not all of them don't have the lovely crunchy pastry that comes from the ones that you can buy. The secret to making a samosa crispy is by not letting the oil in your pan get too hot.

  2. Make ready 2 large Spring Onion (chopped)

  12. Make ready half cup All-purpose flour

Samosa is a yummy snack enjoyed by all age groups. It may not be the easiest snack to make but it's not overly complicated to learn. The samosa I grew up eating had the most yummy fillings of aloo matar (potatoes and peas), chicken, and mixed frozen vegetables like I have. As we approach the weekend, there is no other food that comes to my mind than these Golden, Crispy Samosas also known as ' Aloo Samosa or Punjabi Samosa ' !!

Steps to make Crunchy samosa:
  1. In a pot, add oil, mince and mix well until change colour
  2. Add g.g paste, salt, green chilli, crush red chilli powder, zeera, coriander seeds and mix well and cook for 10 min
  3. Add fresh coriander and mix well
  4. Add onion and mix well
  5. Let it cool down
  6. Now in a small bowl add all-purpose flour and water and make it a smooth paste and set aside
  7. Take samosa patti and make pocket, add filling in the centre and roll into a shape of samosa and seal corner with all-purpose flour paste
  8. Similarly make another samosas
  9. Now these samosa dip in eggs bowl one by one and cover it with bread crumbs. Repeat this procedure twice.
  10. Now deep fry it in the cooking oil until golden brown
  11. Serve with chutney and ketchup
