Hey everyone, it is Brad, welcome to our recipe page. Today, we’re going to make a special dish, carbonara. One of my favorites food recipes. This time, I am going to make it a bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Carbonara is one of the most popular of recent trending foods on earth. It’s easy, it is quick, it tastes delicious. It’s appreciated by millions daily. They are nice and they look wonderful. Carbonara is something which I have loved my entire life.

To get started with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few components. You can have carbonara using 8 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Carbonara:
  1. Get 125 g spaghetti
  2. Make ready 50 g guanciale
  3. Get 1 clove garlic
  4. Prepare 1 egg
  5. Make ready 5 cl cream
  6. Prepare 50 g Grana
  7. Get Black pepper
  8. Make ready (parsley)
Steps to make Carbonara:
  1. Boil the pasta in medium salted water (1tbsp/l)
  2. Dice the guanciale finely and heat it up with a dash of olive oil in a pan. When the fat has rendered, add thinly sliced garlic and fry on medium heat until the guanciale is crispy and the garlic just starts to take some colour.
  3. In the meantime, in a large bowl, whisk together grated Grana, egg, cream, cracked black pepper, and optionally a small handful of chopped parsley.
  4. Toss the spaghetti in the pan with the guanciale, garlic and a bit of the pasta water until evenly coated
  5. Add the hot pasta mixture to the bowl with the sauce and mix well until the egg starts to set and evenly coats the pasta
  6. Serve with more grated Grana and chopped parsley
